HOW TO ENTER: Contest open to residents of the United States and Canada. Contest is limited to professional chefs and cooks at restaurants and other noncommercial foodservice establishments and to students enrolled in professional culinary schools.

ELIGIBILITY: All contestants must be 18 years of age or older. Members of judging panel and employees of Idaho Potato Commission (IPC), its affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, or advertising agencies are not eligible. All entries must be received electronically or postmarked no later than December 31, 2008. IPC is not responsible for lost, misdirected, or incomplete mail. In the event of a tie, the actual time of receipt shall determine the winner. Winners will be notified by e-mail or telephone and announced by January 31, 2009. Winners' and finalists' names and recipes may be used in promotional efforts by IPC. Winners consent to use of their names and/or photographs/ likeness without additional compensation for publicity purposes (except where prohibited by law). Void where prohibited.

JUDGING: Entries will be judged on the basis of flavor, originality, creativity, method, and presentation. The decision of the judges will be final. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry submitted that sponsor determines in its sole discretion does not comply with these official rules. Decisions of judges are final. Odds of winning vary depending on the number of eligible entries received.

NOTIFICATIONS: Contest winners will be notified by e-mail and/or telephone and will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release (where legal), which must be returned within two weeks from the date of notification or an alternate winner may be selected.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: By entering the contest and/or accepting prizes, winners agree that IPC and its agents, representatives, and employees will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of the prize(s). All federal, state, and local taxes, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
